The transition toward lower information consumption is made more difficult by the fact that I am in charge of marketing for ENDracing. So although I personally would like to avoid social media for weeks at a time, I have a vested interest in making sure other people are interested enough in the stuff we post that they don’t quit. I think part of the solution is to remain genuine and to make sure the organization reflects the values I find important, but it’s a fine line to promote yourself at the same time that you’re telling people to get off Facebook and go for a run in the snow.
